While the Shah was pillaging the country during his reign, he endowed many projects in the name of science. This observatory is one of them. The Ministry of Information told me it was fully functional. However, I went snooping around here and found it to be deserted. Maybe I should have asked the Minister what he meant by the term "functional." |
